Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking graduates for its Sustainable Water Management and Asset Consultancy teams. You’ll work on flood risk, water resources, catchments, drainage and water quality, using data and evidence to guide decisions and create lasting value.

The two-year Graduate Development Programme blends structured learning, mentoring and hands-on project experience. You’ll start in April or September 2027, with a hybrid work model and opportunities to develop professionally through

Qualifications

Must have or be on track for at least a 2:2 in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Available to start in April or September 2027.
Interested in sustainable water management across flood risk, drainage, water resources, quality, use and reuse.
Able to use data, modelling and evidence to support sustainable, commercially informed decisions.
Eager to learn, develop skills and build a career in water consultancy.

Responsibilities

Support projects across flood risk, water resources, catchments, drainage, water quality, rivers and coasts.
Draw on WSP’s global expertise to deliver lasting value and strengthen resilience.
Collaborate to manage risk and balance financial, commercial and environmental priorities.
