Job summary

Stantec in the South West invites applications for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join the Buildings discipline in Plymouth or Exeter. You will work with a team of 15 engineers on design, analysis, and delivery of building projects, developing practical, safe and sustainable solutions.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, you’ll gain hands-on experience, support with 3D Revit models, attend meetings, and pursue professional accreditation (IEng/CEng).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in BEng Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office.
• Familiarity with structural engineering analysis and design software.

Responsibilities

• Undertake structural analysis and design calculations.
• Prepare specifications and sketches/drawings.
• Carry out structural inspections.
• Attend project meetings and collaborate with engineers.
• Develop practical, safe and sustainable design solutions.
