Job summary

Pick Everard in Nottingham is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to build a foundation in structural design through hands-on projects and targeted learning. You’ll work with experienced engineers, develop CAD drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, and gain exposure to UK design standards while pursuing Chartership with mentoring support and structured CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• BSc or BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering (2:1) or higher; MSc/MEng preferred.
• Good verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit and ability to learn UK standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CAD drawings/Revit models from sketches.
• Assist engineers with pipeline/drainage plans and simple surfaces using Civil 3D.
• Conduct analysis and prepare drawings, reports, and documents under supervision.
• Assist in project management with financial awareness.
• Support on-site survey/inspection when required.
• Pursue Chartered status with mentor support and CPD access.
• Adhere to Health & Safety requirements.
