Elliott Wood Partnership invites ambitious graduates to join the 2027 Graduate Programme in structural engineering. You’ll engage in diverse projects—from community spaces to award-winning buildings—and work alongside seasoned engineers and sustainability consultants.

You’ll gain hands-on design experience, perform calculations and drawings, visit sites, and explore lower‑carbon design approaches while progressing toward your professional qualification through our Graduate Academy.

Qualifications

• 2:1 or above in an engineering or built environment degree.
• Interest in how the built environment can positively impact people and the planet.
• Willingness to ask questions, challenge ideas and learn.
• Ability to research, analyse and solve problems, and communicate ideas through writing, drawings, presentations or conversation.
• Collaborative across disciplines and drive to develop technical and professional skills.
• Curiosity about making a difference through engineering and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs, calculations, and drawings for a wide range of projects.
• Work with architects, clients, and sustainability consultants to deliver designs.
• Participate in early concept work through to construction documentation and site visits.
• Contribute to innovative, lower-carbon approaches to structural design.
• Collaborate across disciplines to develop practical design solutions.
• Support professional qualification and continuous development through the Graduate Academy.
