Job summary

Cundall is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join its UK Structures team. You will work on exciting design projects across sectors, contributing to concept and detailed analysis while developing the skills to progress toward professional chartership.

You will be guided by experienced engineers, applying maths and problem-solving to create sustainable structures. This role offers growth, development programs, and a structured graduate scheme.

Qualifications

• Must have a 2:2 degree or better.
• Desirable BEng/MEng in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Interest in structural design for the built environment.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team.
• Familiarity with parametric modelling tools (Grasshopper/Dynamo) or a programming language (Python/C#).
• Organised, proactive and good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conceptual and detailed structural design and analysis.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across sectors.
• Translate clients’ needs into buildable, sustainable designs.
• Develop and apply engineering solutions under guidance toward Chartership.
