Job summary

Ridge & Partners Llp in Manchester is launching the Autumn 2027 Evolve graduate programme for a Graduate Structural Engineer. You will gain hands-on experience on new-build and refurbishment projects, developing skills in structural analysis and design across multiple materials.

You’ll work with clients, architects and engineers while being mentored by experienced professionals, with dedicated training, CPD, and progression into your chartership.

Our two-year Evolve graduate programme develops and supports the next generation of Built Environment professionals. As a Graduate Structural Engineer at Ridge you will benefit from on-the-job learning experiences while working on new-build and refurbishment projects across a variety of sectors. You'll build practical experience in structural analysis and design, developing engineering solutions in a range of materials and coordinating designs with the wider project team. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and contractors, gaining a rounded understanding of how successful projects are developed and delivered.

What do I need to succeed?

• I have or am predicted a 2:1 bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• I am available to start work full-time from September 2027

• I have a permanent Right to Work in the UK and do not need visa sponsorship
