Job summary

AZTRUM is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer in Bath to join a well-established practice. You will work with experienced engineers and directors on projects from concept to detailed design.

You will develop initial design concepts, prepare calculations, and cover a range of building structures and materials while supporting civil structures and production drawings. A good degree and basic exposure to structural design are desired.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required or essential.
• Some industry experience or exposure to structural design, ideally within building structures.
• An understanding of key structural materials and design principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate calculations.
• Experience with TEDDS, Tekla and AutoCAD would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop initial design concepts and sketch schemes.
• Prepare structural calculations and design packages.
• Work across a variety of building structures and structural materials.
• Assist with civil engineering structures, including retaining walls and landscape structures.
• Work closely with engineering technicians and contribute to the production of technical drawings.
• Develop technical knowledge and progress your career within a supportive team.
