Job summary

ICE Recruit is representing a Bath-based Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy in the search for a Graduate Structural Engineer. You will develop technical skills and contribute to a variety of projects while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive team.

The role offers a clear development path, involvement in design from concept to completion, and exposure to education, commercial, energy, infrastructure and residential sectors.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' UK experience in a consultancy environment.
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Solid grounding in building structures and strong communication.

Our client, a well-established and growing Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy in Bath, is offering an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Graduate Structural Engineer to develop their skills, gain valuable hands‑on experience and build a long‑term career within a supportive, close‑knit team.

You'll have the opportunity to work on an exciting variety of projects across the education, commercial, energy, infrastructure and residential sectors, gaining exposure to the design process from concept through to completion. With involvement in site visits, technical design reviews and day‑to‑day project delivery, you'll be able to broaden your technical knowledge and grow in confidence alongside experienced engineers.

You'll hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have at least 1-2 years' UK experience within a consultancy environment. You should have a good grounding in building structures, a genuine passion for engineering and the ambition to keep learning and progressing. Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude are essential, while working towards ICE or IStructE chartership would be advantageous.
