Great opportunity for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join a well-respected, ambitious consultancy to assist in delivering a growing portfolio of structural engineering projects throughout the UK. As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will work on diverse projects, helping to deliver innovative design solutions for a broad range of clients. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, trustworthy, practically-minded, and able to work effectively both independently and within a team. Strong client relationship skills and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

Main responsibilities include:

1. Design of Structural Engineering elements using various materials.
2. Providing technical assistance to the structural engineering team.
3. Supporting the production of structural calculations, appraisals, foundation schedules, and survey reports.
4. Contributing to the successful delivery of structural engineering projects as part of a dynamic team.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Minimum 2.1 degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, ideally working towards chartered status with IStructE or ICE, supported by Ecotech Engineers.
• Excellent understanding of design standards and principles, including British Standards, Eurocodes, and Building Regulations.
• Appreciation of geotechnical principles and foundation design.
• Basic skills in AutoCAD 2D and interest or basic skills in Revit.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with structural engineering design software.
• Willingness for learning and self-development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence to represent the company during site visits.
• Full, clean UK driving license.
