Job summary

Northrop Grumman UK is seeking a Graduate Software Engineer in Cheltenham to start in September 2027. You will join a collaborative team, contributing to pioneering projects that use modern technologies to solve complex customer challenges.

The role offers flexible working options subject to project needs. You’ll work with experienced engineers and early-career professionals, gaining hands-on experience across AI, microservices, cloud technologies and secure software practices within a Defence

Qualifications

A relevant degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge.
Strong passion for software development and computing.
Experience writing code in Python, JavaScript, Java or C/C++.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning.
Ability to work to agreed requirements and timescales.
