Job summary

Kent seeks a Graduate Software Engineer based in Aberdeen to help build high-quality software for energy projects. You will engage in the full software development lifecycle, delivering desktop, web and cloud solutions using a .NET/Python stack while embracing agile practices.

You will join a diverse graduate program with mentorship, hands-on experience, and opportunities to grow into a skilled software engineer within our Engineering & Consulting Software Development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in software development with .NET (C# or VB.NET) or Python.
• Familiarity with desktop and web development (WPF, WinForms, ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular).
• Strong English communication and willingness to learn AI and latest technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and support innovative software solutions for client requirements.
• Work across full software development lifecycle using lean and agile methods.
• Contribute to desktop, web and cloud applications using Microsoft stack.
• Collaborate with teams and produce documentation and training.
