Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is offering a Software Engineer Graduate Scheme across multiple UK locations including London, Manchester, and Edinburgh. The two-year programme blends structured learning with hands-on project work, delivering real impact and exposure to modern engineering practices.

You’ll design, build and maintain applications, cloud infrastructure and AI-enabled tools used by millions of customers and colleagues daily, with a hybrid working arrangement and pathways to cloud

Qualifications

• Understanding of modern engineering practices such as cloud development and automation.
• Strong foundation in coding languages; Java, Python and TypeScript are advantageous.
• This is a Software Engineer programme; Data Science paths available if relevant.

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced engineers, product teams, architects and tech specialists to build software that matters.
• Contribute to cloud development, automation, and continuous testing in real environments.
• Collaborate across business areas and deliver scalable digital services for customers.
• Learn and apply modern engineering practices, tools and technologies at pace.
