Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is offering a Software Engineer Graduate Scheme across multiple UK locations with hybrid working. Over two years, you will design, build and maintain applications and services used by millions, gaining expertise across cloud infrastructure, APIs and AI-enabled tools.

You’ll start with structured learning and real projects, rotating across teams to gain broad exposure, before delivering at pace on live business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Understanding of modern engineering practices such as cloud development, automation and continuous testing.
• Strong foundation in coding languages like Java, Python, TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift, Rust and Golang.

Responsibilities

• During the two-year scheme you’ll perform duties of a Junior Software Engineer across platforms and services.
• Develop and maintain software across cloud, mobile and API layers.
• Learn through structured training and real-world projects with rapid delivery expectations.
• Collaborate with product teams, architects and tech specialists to build scalable software.
