This two-year programme combines structured learning and hands-on delivery across platforms, cloud, and digital services used by millions of customers and colleagues.

You will work with experienced engineers and product teams, learning modern practices, languages including Java, Python, and TypeScript, and exploring AI-enabled tools and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop capability through a blend of structured learning and hands-on experience.
• Work with engineers, product teams, architects and tech specialists to build software.
• Get stuck into coding with languages like Java, Python, TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift, Rust and Golang.
• Learn modern engineering practices, including cloud development and automation.
• Help improve apps, APIs, and AI-enabled tools across the bank.
• Build confidence as an engineer while learning software delivery at scale.
