Evolito’s mission is to accelerate the adoption of electric propulsion in aerospace applications in support of a net-zero world. We aim to revolutionise personal mobility and transform towns and cities with clean, noise-free air transportation.

Evolito develops and manufactures lightweight, high-power, high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for aerospace markets including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and General Aviation. Our expertise includes ultra-high performance, low-weight electric motors and controllers, as well as bespoke battery systems for aerospace and defence markets. The team is scaling rapidly with ambitious growth plans over the next 12 to 18 months.

As part of our growth phase, we are seeking a Graduate Software Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining software applications and systems. The role involves working closely with the software development team to design, implement, and test solutions that meet company and customer needs.

Key responsibilities:

1. Assist in developing software applications and systems.
2. Write and maintain code in various programming languages.
3. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
4. Collaborate with team members to design and implement software solutions.
5. Conduct testing and debugging of software applications.
6. Document software development processes and procedures.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

Skills and experience required:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Java, C++, or Python.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in software engineering.
• Experience with Model-Based software design tools such as Simulink.
• Familiarity with embedded software design practices and UML.
