Job summary

Graphcore’s Graduate Programme offers two years of hands-on learning in SoC architecture. From day one, you’ll own tasks, share ideas and help shape AI hardware. You’ll work across design, verification, hardware and software teams to drive real impact.

As a Graduate SoC Architecture Engineer, you’ll model and evaluate subsystems, explore trade-offs, and gather performance evidence under mentor guidance, preparing you for a career at the AI frontier.

Qualifications

• A degree, or expected degree, in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Understanding of computer architecture or digital systems, with an interest in SoC design, AI hardware or HPC
• Programming experience in Python, Rust, C++ or a similar language
• Analytical problem-solving and clear written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of architecture of a chip subsystem or function and model architectural features.
• Assess design options and support silicon bring-up.
• Gather performance evidence to support architecture decisions.
• Participate in design reviews, modelling, simulation and documentation.
