Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join its Wessex region operations. The role involves assisting with set-up, construction, commissioning and handover of projects, performing site surveying and QA tasks, and supporting the Site Manager with RAMS, permits, and daily site operations.

You will travel to sites within your operational region, grow through our Early Careers programme, and contribute to value creation across water, energy and environment projects.

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate from university with a degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Understand civil engineering principles and practices.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driving license is essential.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel to sites across your operational region.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the set-up, construction, commissioning and handover of projects.
• Set out line & level of structures and pipework using surveying equipment.
• Carry out QA and complete ITRs in line with procedures.
• Assist the Site Manager with RAMS, permits, toolbox talks and safety on site.
• Assist with day-to-day site running including materials, plant, and delivery tickets.
• Assist with programming & planning and cost forecasting.
