Job summary

Elite Construction Talent Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Site Engineer to support the civil engineering team on a major South Wales project. The role is ideal for a Civil Engineering graduate or someone with around 12 months of site experience, focusing on QA, documentation and setting-out tasks.

You will work with Site Engineers and Project Managers, handling records, drawings and ITPs, while developing technical and site engineering skills in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Graduate or ~12 months' site engineering experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and QA docs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team with day-to-day technical and site activities.
• Prepare and collate QA documentation and site records.
• Support inspection and test plans (ITPs) and quality inspections.
• Record technical information from site activities accurately.
• Assist with as-built documentation and engineering records.
• Read drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Assist with setting-out, surveying and site measurements when required.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers and Project Managers to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies and ensure timely, accurate records.
