Step Into Teaching Limited is recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND Primary School in Salford (M27). You will support pupils with diverse needs, helping them access learning and develop communication, independence and confidence.

This full-time, term-time role offers £500–£530 per week and immediate start. It's an excellent chance to gain practical classroom experience and decide if teaching is the right path for you.

Qualifications

• A graduate with a bachelor’s degree at 2:2 or above.
• Caring, patient, empathetic and emotionally resilient.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND to feel safe, included and ready to learn.
• Help deliver personalised learning activities reflecting developmental stage and needs.
• Build trusting relationships to support emotional regulation and behaviour.
• Support communication, sensory development and social interaction.
• Help create a calm, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and the team to celebrate progress and overcome challenges.
