Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a Graduate Learning Mentor for a specialist SEND school in Gateshead. The successful candidate will support pupils with autism, ADHD and SEMH, helping them engage with lessons and develop communication skills.

The role is full-time and long-term, with daily pay between £92.63 and £105.00. Ideal for graduates pursuing Educational Psychology, Teaching or related SEND careers, with DBS checks and safeguarding training provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Childhood Studies or Education is particularly relevant.
• Experience of supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties.
• All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
• All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
