Job summary

Protocol Education Limited in Gateshead is seeking a Graduate SEND Learning Mentor to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties in a specialist SEND setting. This role offers hands-on experience and a pathway to careers in Educational Psychology, Teaching, Speech & Language Therapy, Child Psychology or Children\'s Mental Health. Location: Gateshead.

Pay: £92.63-£105 per day. Contract: Full-time, Long-Term.

Qualifications

• Graduates with a genuine interest in supporting children and young people.
• No SEND experience required, though beneficial.
• Interested in careers in education-related fields.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
• Help pupils manage behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Support communication and social development.
• Deliver engaging learning and intervention activities.
• Assist teachers within the classroom.
• Build positive relationships with pupils.
• Work closely with experienced SEND staff.
