Job summary

INDEDU is seeking a Graduates' SEN Teaching Assistant to join a network of Bradford mainstream schools on a flexible day-to-day supply basis. You will support pupils with SEND in 1:1 and small-group settings, helping to foster inclusion and confidence while gaining valuable classroom experience.

The role is ideal for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, or SEN specialists.

Qualifications

• A graduate with a 2:1 degree or above (all subjects considered).
• Passion for supporting children and young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
• Interest in education, SEND, or child development.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Encourage pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Support students in building confidence, independence, and resilience.
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs.
• Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams.
• Help create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
