Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is working with a high-achieving, Ofsted-rated primary school in the LS13 area of Leeds to recruit a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant. You will join a supportive team and help pupils access learning, build confidence and become more independent.

This role offers £500-£560 per week (full-time) with immediate start, providing 1:1 and small-group SEN support, learning interventions, and opportunities to gain hands-on primary school experience and progress toward teacher training.

Qualifications

• Graduate with genuine interest in primary education.
• Previous experience with children is desirable.
• Willingness to support SEN needs and work in a team.

Responsibilities

We are working with a high-achieving, Ofsted-rated primary school in the LS13 area of Leeds, who are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable hands-on primary school experience, develop your SEN knowledge and build the skills needed to progress into teaching.

The Role

You will work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them to access learning, develop confidence and become more independent.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group SEN support
• Supporting targeted learning interventions
• Assisting the class teacher with classroom learning
• Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Building strong, positive relationships with pupils
• Working alongside the SENCO and wider teaching team
