Job summary

Sweco is recruiting for a Graduate Security Consultant to join the Mission Critical division as part of the Autumn 2027 cohort. The role is based in the United Kingdom with a two-year blended learning Graduate Scheme and a permanent position on successful completion.

You will work on security assessments, develop strategies, and collaborate with project teams across the business, supported by mentors and expert trainers.

Qualifications

• Must have degree relevant to the role.
• No more than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements).
• Confident using Microsoft Office and other digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Support security assessments and risk reviews for mission critical facilities.
• Help develop security strategies, concepts and detailed designs.
• Assist with preparation of reports, specifications, drawings and presentations.
• Research relevant security standards, legislation and industry good practice.
• Support design of physical, electronic and operational security measures.
• Work with architects, engineers, clients and other project teams.
• Attend site visits, surveys and project meetings.
• Contribute to risk assessments, threat assessments and security management plans.
• Keep up to date with emerging security technologies and threats.
• Assist in delivering projects within timescales and budgets.
