Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistant

Are you a graduate with a 2:1 or higher degree, who wants to start their teaching training in September?

Do you want to work in a warm and welcoming secondary school beforehand that places the children at the heart of everything they do?

Perhaps you would feel more confident during your teacher training knowing you’ve got experience to relate the training back to?

Role Overview:

• Work alongside the SENCo and other Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistants
• Instil the school’s values into your teaching and support
• Provide 1:1 support to children in need
• Specialise in a subject or offer general academic support
• Learn to adapt your teaching style depending on age and ability
• Report progress to teachers
• Term time only, including holiday pay (£450 – £550 per week)
• CPD opportunities from the school and i-teachers to enhance your CV
• Interviewing in January
