Job summary

INDEDU in Leeds is seeking a Graduate Science Learning Mentor to support Biology, Chemistry, and Physics students across KS3 to A-Level. The role offers hands-on classroom experience and a clear pathway to PGCE applications.

You will work with experienced Science teachers, deliver targeted support, and help pupils build confidence, improve attainment, and develop a genuine interest in the sciences. Term-time only, with pay up to £560 per week for a September 2026 start.

Qualifications

• A minimum 2:1 degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Biomedical Science, Natural Sciences, Engineering, or a related STEM subject.
• Strong subject knowledge across at least one science discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ambition to pursue a career in teaching or education.
• Desirable: tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or classroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted support across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Lead small-group and one-to-one intervention sessions.
• Support students with scientific knowledge, practical applications, and exam preparation.
• Help pupils develop analytical thinking, problem-solving, and investigative skills.

The Role
