Job summary

Fisher German LLP in Worcester is seeking a Graduate Surveyor to join our Rural Property Management team. The role focuses on estate management for private, charitable and corporate clients, alongside rural professional practice work.

Based in Worcester, this is a permanent full-time position on 37.5 hours with a hybrid working policy. Salary is £27,612 per annum, with additional benefits and training towards MRICS.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards MRICS qualification.
• Able to work on own initiative.
• Strong relationship-building with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent planning for travel and on-site work, including some overnight stays.
• Proficient with MS Office and mapping tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with estate management portfolios across the Midlands.
• Support client care and develop existing client relationships.
• Assist with rural professional practice work and lease/rent reviews.
• Support with budgeting, CAPEX, and expenditure for clients.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Surveyor to join our Rural Property Management team in Worcester. The role within the team will be predominantly estate management work for both traditional private, charitable and corporate clients, alongside associated rural professional practice work.

This is an ideal role for someone who wants to work as part of a progressive, energetic team. Fisher German’s Rural Property Management team operates as one team alongside other regional and national teams delivering a range of services including agri‑business, valuation, building consultancy and farms and residential agency.

Based in Worcester, this is a permanent full-time position based on 37.5 hours (Monday – Friday). We also operate a hybrid working policy.

In return, beyond your base salary you will be included in:

Duties will include:

• To work with our existing estate management portfolios throughout the Midlands
• Assisting with client care – leading and developing existing Clients and teams
• Supporting with general associated rural professional practice work
• Assisting with lease renewals and rent reviews, landlord and tenant advice and property management
• Supporting with income and expenditure management and delivery of CAPEX and budgeting for our corporate and traditional clients
• Assisting with property, contractor and client compliance management
• Actively promote and embed Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance in all your work
• Delivering first rate service to boost the Fisher German brand and identifying opportunities to grow and expand the business

The successful candidate will have...

• Willingness to work towards your MRICS qualification
• A training background within Rural Surveying
• Able to work on own initiative
• Effective relationship builder with both external clients & internal stakeholders
• Able to plan travel and work efficiently when on site with some national and overnight travel
• Regular user of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word & Outlook and mapping systems
• Ambitious and forward thinking
