Job summary

Pertemps Glasgow Perms is seeking a motivated Trainee Recruitment Consultant to support our recruitment team with admin, candidate care and client liaison. This is a fantastic entry point offering full training and a clear career progression path from day one.

You will gain hands-on experience across recruitment, administration and crewing processes, learning to screen candidate applications, manage profiles and documentation, and coordinate onboarding in a supportive Glasgow office.

Responsibilities

• Supporting candidates and clients via email and telephone
• Assisting candidates with updating their online profiles
• Maintaining and updating the candidate database
• Preparing recruitment documentation and onboarding paperwork
• Coordinating travel arrangements for successful candidates
• Providing administrative support including payroll processes
• Acting as a first point of contact for candidate enquiries
• Supporting general office administration and stock control
