Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Recruitment Consultant in Hull to manage recruitment activity within the Business Services industry, helping clients and candidates make well-informed hiring decisions. You will keep the process organised from initial discussions through to successful placements, ensuring day-to-day recruitment work runs smoothly.

Build relationships with clients, source and screen candidates, write and post adverts reflecting duties, arrange interviews and coordinate feedback, and

Qualifications

• Experience managing recruitment processes from vacancy briefing through to placement.
• Confidence speaking with clients and candidates by phone, email and in person.
• Ability to source and assess candidates against clear job requirements.
• Experience writing accurate job adverts and maintaining candidate records.
• Good organisation skills to manage several vacancies and interview arrangements at once.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand recruitment needs and provide updates.
• Speak with candidates to understand their experience, career aims and suitability for roles.
• Source, screen and shortlist candidates for vacancies, ensuring information is accurate and relevant.
• Write and post job adverts reflecting the duties and requirements of each vacancy.
• Arrange interviews and coordinate feedback between clients and candidates to keep processes moving.
• Manage recruitment records and candidate details, keeping information up to date.
• Guide candidates through each stage of the hiring process, from application to offer.
• Work towards agreed placement targets through consistent client and candidate engagement.
