Arup is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join the Birmingham Rail Track team. You will receive structured training in our systems and design software and work on real-life projects that add value for clients and communities.

You’ll learn from experts, expand your professional network, and progress toward chartership with support for CPD activities and site visits. You’ll contribute to track system design, feasibility studies, and detailed design while collaborating with suppliers and other

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Project & Programme Management.
• Demonstrated spatial problem solving and ability to handle multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Strong ICT skills including Microsoft Office and Windows OS; experience with CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of railway track systems.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams on projects and deliverables.
• Support project delivery, technical assurance and safety practices.
• Apply safety and engineering best practice throughout the project lifecycle.
