Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Familiarity with UK design standards and Eurocodes, or willingness to develop this knowledge.
• Good communication, organisation and IT skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with civil and structural engineering designs for rail infrastructure.
• Preparing calculations, technical notes, specifications and engineering reports.
• Producing and reviewing design drawings and technical information.
• Supporting design coordination and project delivery.
• Attending site visits, surveys and inspections where required.
• Working with engineers, project managers and other disciplines to meet project requirements.
