Job summary

Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd. invites graduates in Quantity Surveying to join a national, two-year programme starting September 2027. You will rotate across projects, sectors and specialisms, building breadth and pursuing chartership with ICE or RICS.

From day one you’ll join a live project team, delivering real value while developing professionally. We value curiosity, teamwork and adaptability, and support travel across the UK to locations with leading building and infrastructure work.

Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related subject completed or due in 2027
Willingness to travel and move between project locations
Curiosity, drive and a team-first attitude
Location: Projects across the UK

Responsibilities

Join one of our core job families and rotate across projects, sectors, and specialisms to build real breadth
A clear route to chartership with ICE or RICS; 4 dedicated development days per year
You will work on live projects from day one, contributing to delivery and value creation
You will be supported by a cohort and a two-year structured programme with development activities
