Workforce People and Data Ltd is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor in Gloucester. You will assist with financial and commercial management from tender to final account, working alongside experienced QS professionals.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent Quantity Surveying graduate to develop hands-on experience on live projects within a supportive commercial team.

Qualifications

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good communication and organisation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Confident using Microsoft Excel and other standard software.
• A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of project cost plans and budgets.
• Supporting the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Preparing and issuing tender enquiries.
• Comparing and analysing subcontractor quotations.
• Assisting with valuations, payment notices and cost reporting.
• Monitoring project costs against budgets.
• Supporting the management of variations and change control.
• Attending site and commercial meetings.
• Assisting with the preparation of final accounts.
• Maintaining accurate commercial records and project documentation.
