Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to start your career on live construction projects in the Warrington area. You will rotate across cost management, procurement support and project teams, gaining practical commercial experience from day one.

This site-based role offers structured training, exposure to M&E projects, and progression toward RICS accreditation, with mentoring from experienced professionals and a clear pathway to chartered status.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• UK driving licence or working towards by Feb 2027.
• Strong problem-solving with practical, logical approach.
• Good written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with readiness to learn and take responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cost estimates, budgets and tender submissions.
• Support procurement of subcontractors and suppliers to achieve best value.
• Track project costs, valuations and payments to keep projects on track.
• Assist with risk, opportunities and variations assessment.
• Produce clear reports for clients and project teams.
