Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is recruiting a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to develop commercial and cost‑management skills on live projects in the Yorkshire region, starting in the Sheffield area. You’ll rotate across key areas and learn from experienced teams while helping to keep projects on programme and budget.

Qualifications

• A degree (or expected in 2027) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (2:2 or above).
• Full UK driving licence or working towards by Feb 2027.
• Desire to pursue RICS accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cost estimates, budgets and tender submissions.
• Support procurement of subcontractors and suppliers for value.
• Track project costs, valuations and payments to keep projects on track.
• Assist with risk, opportunity and variation management.
• Produce reports to support client and project decisions.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Develop skills in industry-standard systems for commercial management.
