Job summary

Galliford Try invites graduates to join its two-year Graduate Development Programme as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor (Asset Intelligence) starting September 2027, with locations at Stansted Airport, Oxfordshire and West London, and travel across sites.

You will assist in commercial administration, reporting, and cost control on major projects, learn software tools, support subcontract procurement, and contribute to change management and value reporting while pursuing professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management prior to September 2027.
• Full UK driving licence by 6th September 2027.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in commercial administration and reporting on a single large project or several schemes.
• Learn to use latest software tools to report cost and value to the business unit.
• Interpret and evaluate expenditure reports produced by internal cost systems.
• Support subcontract procurement including bid enquiry documentation and bid evaluation.
• Produce Subcontract documentation and related notices as required by contract and law.
• Assist in change management, including compensation events and schedules of value.
• Support the Commercial team in monthly payment applications and site records.
• Collate information for detailed cost-to-complete analyses.
