Job summary

Mott MacDonald in the UK is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to manage capital expenditure and forecast financial impacts across a wide range of infrastructure and property projects. From day one you’ll be supported by a collaborative and inclusive team, gaining hands-on experience throughout the full lifecycle of project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar subject accredited by RICS.
• Less than 12 months of relevant experience (placements excluded).
• Interest in digital and AI-enabled practices for cost management.

Responsibilities

• Work across all phases of project delivery from design to final settlement.
• Accurately manage capital expenditure and assess financial impact.
• Gain exposure to contract reviews, commercial strategy and settlements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure financial integrity.
• Support clients across Environment, Water, Defence, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Property, Transport.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders emphasizing transparency and accountability.
