Qualifications

The Role

Due to continued growth, Certus now has an exciting opportunity for a graduate quantity surveyor to work closely with the senior management team.

You will support the commercial director, gaining hands-on experience within a growing business.

Your responsibilities will grow as your skills develop and may include:

• Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and quotations
• Supporting in the measurement and valuation of works, including take-offs from drawings and site visits
• Helping to prepare and issue tender documents and contract documentation
• Assisting with the financial monitoring of projects from start to completion
• Liaising with clients, contractors, loss adjusters, and other project stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting document control procedures

Requirements:

• Degree level qualification (preferably construction based but not essential, would also suit business related degrees)
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn and develop a career in quantity surveying
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Valid UK driving license
