Job summary

Nicholas Associates Graduate Placements in Derby is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join the Quantity Surveying Team and manage all commercial elements across the project lifecycle.

You will help minimise costs, source materials, attend progress meetings, and liaise with site teams and clients. Recent graduates with a Quantity Surveying degree and UK driving licence encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Recently graduated with a Quantity Surveying degree.
• Competent IT skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen.
• Practical approach, logical thought process and a methodical way of working.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure as part of a team and individually.
• Willing to travel to sites throughout the UK.
• Valid UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

The company is a Groundworks and Civil Engineering company operating as a sub-contractor for most of the major and regional housebuilders, as well as other market sectors.

The Role

Working within the Quantity Surveying Team to manage all commercial elements throughout the project lifecycle.
