Job summary

Targetjobs UK offers a 4-year Engineering (Design and Manufacture) Graduate Apprenticeship in Scotland, combining hands-on quality assurance work with a BEng (Hons) degree. You will contribute to defence programmes while developing in a safety-first manufacturing environment.

You’ll rotate between Central Quality and live projects, building skills in data analysis, internal auditing, and continuous improvement, with coaching to ensure learning objectives are met.

Qualifications

• UCAS tariff of 96 points.
• Scottish Highers BBCC including Maths and a science/tech subject.
• Foundation Apprenticeships in combination with SQA Highers.
• SCQF Level 6 Modern Apprenticeship with SQA Highers.
• HNC in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support inspection and testing processes to meet standards.
• Help develop and maintain quality documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
