Job summary

Avanti Recruitment Limited, in partnership with an Oxford-based software company, is seeking a Graduate / Junior QA Engineer to join the Quality Assurance team. The role requires office presence three days per week and offers training; no commercial QA experience is required.

You will test software from a user perspective, collaborate with developers and product managers, and help maintain high quality standards.

Qualifications

• STEM degree (or graduating this year) with a 2:1 or above.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication.
• Analytical and logical problem-solving ability.
• Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.
• Willingness to work from the Oxford office a minimum of 3 days per week.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and with product managers.

Responsibilities

• Test new software features before release.
• Investigate and reproduce software issues and verify fixes.
• Provide feedback on usability and functionality.
• Review documentation and product changes with developers.
• Support software releases and maintain quality standards.
