Job summary

Avanti Recruitment is assisting an Oxford-based software company to hire a Graduate/Junior QA Engineer. The role focuses on manual testing with training available, requiring a STEM degree and a willingness to work in the Oxford office at least 3 days per week.

You'll collaborate with developers and product teams to identify bugs and improve user experience, supporting releases and maintaining high software quality.

Qualifications

• STEM degree (or graduating this year) in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, CS, Natural Sciences or similar.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and logical problem-solving ability.
• Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.
• Willingness to work from the Oxford office a minimum of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Testing new software features before release.
• Investigating and reproducing software issues.
• Verifying bug fixes.
• Providing feedback on usability and functionality.
