Job summary

Maersk is offering a two-year Graduate Programme in the UK, with placements at East Midlands Gateway and Liverpool. You will rotate through several pathways including Customer Experience & Operations, Sales, Customs and Finance, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship in global logistics.

Applicants should be recent graduates with a 2:2 or higher, right to work in the UK, and a drive to develop in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain, Management, Business or Engineering, Finance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop key skills across five graduate pathways: Customer Experience & Operations, Sales, Customs, Finance and more.
• Engage in 2 x 12-month placements per pathway at locations such as East Midlands Gateway and Liverpool.

Location: East Midlands Gateway/Liverpool

Sales:

In our Sales pathway, you will dive deep into the world oflogisticsand supply chain solutions, helping to drive business growth and build lasting customer relationships.You’lllearn how toidentifycustomer needs, deliver tailored solutions, and close deals that support Maersk’s ambitious targets. With mentorship from industry experts and hands‑on experience,you’llbecome an integral part of our global sales team

Location: Liverpool

Customs Pathway:

In our Customs pathway,you’llbecome a key player in navigating the complexities of global trade. This journey will immerse you in customs compliance, regulatory frameworks, and international trade operations.You’llgain hands‑on experience ensuring cargo moves efficiently and lawfully across borders – mastering the balance between speed and accuracy. From managing customs declarations to working with brokers and authorities,you’lllearn to reduce delays, minimise risk, and deliver consistently high service to our clients. With guidance from customs experts and exposure to real‑world challenges,you’lldevelop the knowledge and confidence to support Maersk’s role as a trusted and compliantlogisticspartner.

Location: Felixstowe/Liverpool

Finance Pathway:

In our Finance pathway,you’llstep into the strategic centre of Maersk’s global operations. This is more than working with numbers –it’sabout using financial insight to drive decisions, add value, and shape the future.You’llcollaborate with finance professionals to understand everything from performance analysis and forecasting to cost optimisation and investment planning. Whetheryou’retracking results, building business cases, or contributing to commercial strategy, your input will have real impact. With exposure to real-time business challenges and guidance from senior finance leaders,you’lldevelop into a trusted advisor within a fast-paced, international environment.

Next Steps:

• The closing date for applicationsis the02 November 2026.
• Once we have received your application,and if you meet ourminimumcriteria,you willbe askedtocomplete a Video Interview.
• If successful at this point you will be invited to an Assessment Centre, which will be held at our site at East Midlands Gateway(DE74 2BB), these will be taking place on the 20th January 2027.We will provide you with full detail in advance of what to expect on the day.
• The final stage of our process will beaninterview with our Leadership team.
