Job summary

InterSystems is seeking a Graduate to perform custom development tasks and provide support for its healthcare applications and related products. The role includes site-specific software deployment and ensuring delivery in line with project requirements.

The Graduate must visit client sites, provide technical support and training, and may require international travel. Office-based with potential travel to hospitals, laboratories and implementation partners.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of web oriented languages including HTML and JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL, data analysis and database methodologies.
• Ability to design and write technical documents
• Well versed in Internet/Intranet concepts
• Experience in client-focused interaction
• Proven ability to lead and deliver results within time frames
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Ability to conduct training and develop training materials
• Ability to work within a team in a multi-cultural environment
• Willingness to travel and availability for work outside office hours
• Experience with InterSystems technology and healthcare systems desirable

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide technical support for software customizations such as JavaScript, interfaces, reports, extracts, data migration, upgrades and conversions
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and performance analysis for related areas
• Support and testing of all InterSystems related utilities
• Production of training materials for technical courses such as system custom development or reporting
• Production of technical documentation such as reference materials, installation instructions, user guides, knowledge-base articles, and specifications
• Participate in on-site technical training and implementations
• Participate in 24 hour extended support service
