Job summary

The Foodie Recruiter Ltd is hiring a Graduate Process Technologist to join a leading food manufacturing operation in Manchester. You will help turn new product ideas into production-ready launches in a state-of-the-art facility.

You'll work closely with teams across the business to take products from kitchen handover through trials to full production, while developing your career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values sustainability and innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in data collection, analysis and interpretation.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative abilities.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Taking products from kitchen handover through trials, testing and ultimately into full production.
• Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure factory trials run smoothly and effectively.
• Communicating trial outcomes and highlighting any critical issues or potential improvements.
• Measuring and analysing yields and performance to ensure products meet quality, food safety and customer expectations.
• Identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and product performance.
• Supporting the wider team with the selection, purchase and trialling of new processing equipment for product launches and improvements to existing processes.
