Job summary

The Oval Partnership in Manchester is seeking a Process Technologist to join a leading UK food manufacturer. You will support new product development from concept through launch, collaborating with NPD, Production, Technical and Quality teams to ensure successful product introductions across ambient lines.

The role suits someone with a Food Science/Technology degree and hands-on manufacturing experience, with responsibilities including factory trials, process validation, and continuous

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related discipline.
• Experience in process technology or NPD in food manufacturing.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for food manufacturing, innovation and product development.

Responsibilities

• Run and support factory trials and process validations.
• Manage projects through critical paths to ensure launches.
• Collaborate with NPD and Production to scale concepts to manufacture.
• Support continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
• Ensure safe, efficient and consistent production processes.
• Maintain accurate process documentation and specifications.
