Job summary

Tetra Tech is recruiting Graduate Process Engineers to join our Water Consultancy strategy teams from early 2027. You will support process design and optimisation for water, wastewater and sludge treatment schemes, preparing mass and energy balances and developing process simulations.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams on projects feeding multi-site investment and delivery programmes, contributing to nature‑based solutions and data‑driven reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Desirable exposure to water/wastewater treatment, hydraulics, GIS.
• Familiarity with BioWin, InfoWorks ICM or related tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist process design and simulation for water treatment schemes.
• Prepare mass and energy balances and develop process models.
• Support HAZOPs, commissioning and whole‑life cost assessments.
• Produce technical reports based on data analysis and GIS outputs.
