Arup is offering graduate opportunities in Process Engineering across water and wastewater sectors in the UK. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering from feasibility to detailed design, with exposure to innovative technologies and sustainable strategies.

The role provides early responsibility, learning pathways, and support toward professional qualification. From day one you will work with experts across sectors, with opportunities to contribute to major projects, develop process

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.
• Interest in solving problems that affect how we live and the built environment.
• Knowledge of Office and ability to learn new software in a 3D design/digital automation context.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of clean water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Develop process calculations such as mass balances, flow balances and treatment performance assessments.
• Support process optimisation studies to improve efficiency, resilience and environmental performance.
• Prepare technical reports, option studies and design documentation and support feasibility studies and due diligence assessments.
• Contribute to process design deliverables through concept, outline and detailed design stages
