Job summary

United Infrastructure Ltd invites a Graduate to join our Energy business, contributing to design, build and maintain critical national infrastructure for UK energy transmission and distribution networks. You’ll join our Gas Infrastructure Engineering team, focusing on gas processing, transportation and renewables integration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.2 Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
• Strong IT, analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and report-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of process designs for gas infrastructure projects.
• Assist in developing PFDs, P&IDs, heat and mass balance calculations, and operating philosophies.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and process simulations.
• Support sizing of process equipment including valves, regulators, relief valves, heat exchangers, filters and separators.
