Job summary

Cundall is seeking a Graduate Power Systems Engineer to join their Power Systems team in the UK. You’ll work with experienced engineers on power generation, transmission and distribution projects, starting September 2027.

You’ll contribute to designing and optimising electrical systems, perform load-flow analyses, protection studies and grid connection studies, and develop toward Chartered status with accredited programmes.

Qualifications

• Must be on target to achieve a 2:2 degree.
• Desirable to have or be on course for a BEng/MEng in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering.
• Interest in power systems design and a passion for creative, intuitive design.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team.
• Understanding of Power System Analysis Software or programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimise electrical systems across sectors.
• Support projects with load flow analyses, fault level calculations, protection studies, earthing design and grid connection studies.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and guide projects toward sustainable energy solutions.
